About Us

Hey, I'm Steph.

Founder of Hey Sister Scrub Club and a registered nurse on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

That last part matters, because I'm not designing scrubs from a boardroom. I'm designing them from the floor. I know what 12 hours does to a waistband, and I know that what you're wearing changes how you get through the shift.

I believe that every nurse deserves to feel confident, comfortable, and totally fab in their scrubs. We work hard, so we deserve to look great while doing it, right?

That's the whole idea behind this: when you FEEL good, you DO good.

How this actually works around here 👀

Every concept starts with me. From there I collab with our graphic designer to bring the prints to life. Every single design is original, exclusive to Hey Sister, and has a massive chunk of our heart stitched into it. You will never find our prints anywhere else.

We're a small crew - me, a VA who keeps me from losing the plot, our designer, and two absolute legends who help pack orders out of my garage. Every order gets checked by a human. Usually me. If your set has a wonky thread, it doesn't go out. And it turns up in packaging that isn't going to hang around on the planet for 400 years.

Why bother supporting us 💕

Because when you order from us, it's not going into a corporate void. It's going to a nurse on the Sunshine Coast who is probably going to see your name on a label and get a bit excited about it. And because a chunk of what we do goes back to our own - we've supported the McGrath Foundation, donated scrub caps through Wishlist, and backed the nurses doing the hardest shifts in NICU and PICU.

Come say hey 💌

Got a question, an order issue, or just want to talk scrubs? Email the team at hello@heysisterscrubclub.com.au and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Or find us on Instagram, where it's mostly scrubs, occasionally chaos, always sisterhood.

P.S. Whether you're a brand new grad who's still terrified of handover, or you've been doing this for 20 years and could cannulate in your sleep - we've got you. Thanks for being part of the club.
